Klar warten auf der MacWorld eigentlich alle auf andere Dinge, aber das Gerücht über den endgültigen Abschied von DRM im iTunes Store erscheint uns einiges wichtiger, schliesslich ist iTunes mittlerweile ja der größte Musikstore der Welt. Wir hatten uns zwar schon mal von DRM verabschiedet, aber zweimal tut auch nicht weh.
Apple has cut deals that will finally enable iTunes to offer songs free of copy protection software from the three largest music labels, according to two sources close to the negotiations. In exchange, Apple has agreed to become more flexible on pricing, the sources said.
