Vor mehr als fünfzehn Jahren wurde in Chicago an einem Haus gebaut. Nicht irgendein Haus, sondern Jacks HOUSE. Und dorthin lud er uns alle ein, denn, so versicherte er uns, es war auch unser House. Ihr wollt wissen, wer Jack ist? “Jack is the one who gives you the power to jack your body! Jack is the one who gives you the power to do the snake. Jack is the one who gives you the key to the wiggly worm. Jack is the one who learns you how to walk your body. Jack is the one that can bring nations and nations of all Jackers together under one house.” Und für eben jenen Jack, der seitdem in so vielen Gestalten fast überall auf der Welt aufgetaucht ist, gibt es bald eine Compilation auf Resopal. Und alle wollen Jack mit frischen Sounds und alten Tricks (und umgekehrt) gedenken: Falko Brocksieper, Dub Taylor, Misc., Hakan Lidbo, Jackmate, Jake Fairley, D.Diggler, Billy Dalessandro und noch einige andere. Dreizehn Tracks, die Jacks House so schnittig neu vermessen, dass selbst er verzückt sein dürfte. Das Ganze hört auf den programmatischen Namen “Jack to the Future” und wird ab Mai im Plattenladen eures Vertrauens zu haben sein. Time to Jack!
