STEIM braucht euren Support

Mal im Ernst, wieviel Spaß hätten wir versäumt, wenn es nicht die sympathische Cracklebox vom Niederländischen STEIM, dem, ach was DEM Institut für elektronisch-instrumentale Livemusik gegeben hätte. Und natürlich, wohin blickt man als Elektroakustiker heutzutage immer noch ständig, wenn es um das wahren der Avantguarde geht? Genau. Amsterdam. STEIM-wärts. Also, bevor die bekifften Hooligans im Mainstreamparlament die Mittel für das STEIM streichen, gehet hin und zeigt ein wenig Support, schließlich wollen wir auch morgen noch so dufte Live-Setups sehen wie das da oben (via yang02).

Things are not well at STEIM. We are in the danger of losing our structural funding from the government, based on a review from the advisor board which called us “closed and only appealing to a niche audience”. The outlook isn’t exactly bleak, but at the moment our future is unclear.
