On his third EP on Broque, Stefan Schultz (alias Juno6) merges his musical influences and roots – ranging from Boards of Canada to the likes of Ricardo Villalobos and Jeff Mills – in the most direct and stunning way so far. Stefan is no stranger for most: his releases on Freude am Tanzen, Cargo Edition or Liebe*Detail gained a lot of attention as did his label “Oh!Yeah!” which he runs jointly with Sven Tasnadi and Daniel Stefanik. His new EP on Broque features five new, analogue electronic gems, which are only occasionally grounded on the dancefloor and wander off the beaten track to open up truly mind-bending perspectives. Techno history, personal reference points and state of the art sounds, are all melted into very unique and magical tracks. “Devils from Darkonia” clearly doesn’t need to adopt established dancefloor stereotypes but simply scores with original personality and character. The five tales on this EP could easily fill entire club nights, but for the moment, we are simply immensely grateful about this fantastic EP.

Fingers In The Noise - Set 4 Don't Think 1, it's, really truely deeply, is music made for the love. If your a real deep / dub house head this should be firmly top of your collection.

Say »Hi« to the first solo release of Zasten with some nice edits by Bool and Ruedi, that we want to introduce to you with a quote from a famous movie:
Joe Hallenbeck: I swear to Christ, Junior, if I survive this fuckin’ case I’m gonna dance a jig.
Jimmy Dix: What?
Joe Hallenbeck: I’m gonna dance a jig, I swear to Christ.
So Joe (and you all out there), here are the right beats to dance a Jig…

… The Maextro ( Fingers In The Noise ) is back…
with a Stunningly Deep Album, somewhere between vintage Balance/Prescription smoothness (” Fingers ” style),
gentle dub-house and subtly darker territories.
TicK remix is particularily fantastic, with dope grooves,
the Genoveva Version, a languorous enigmatic female voice, this track has so much melancholy in it, it gives my little shivers each time I listen to it,
The 2 Alveol Remixes, Slide & Glide, with grooving beats, one fast and one more slow and smooth,
Koygo remix, ah..shit what a wonderful lifted atmosphere…,
the 8 Four remix.. a nice semi-ambient vibe with warm and fuzzy dubbed out rhythms,
and the Maurizio Miceli Remix, to the very essence of the original track at its feverish, serotonin-spreading, hypnotic best !!
the original & ” fitn ” bonus, are the high class material, A true lesson !!!
Happy Birthday Laurent, and thank you for this must have release…
we’re glad to release it on DID !!!
Enjoy …
love & lights
