Tanzmusik – “Auf Deutsch” [corpid extra 016]

Das neueste Hitwunder auf Corpid Extra sind Tanzmusik, ein Schwedisches Elektropop-Duo bestehend aus Malin Carlstedt and Johanna Ranes. Und wer Kraftwerk, St Etienne, New Order und die Pet Shop Boys zu seinen wichtigsten Einflüssen zählt, den muss man einfach lieben.

Tanzmusik are Malin Carlstedt and Johanna Ranes from Sweden, who sing in German about their German boyfriends and the country in particular. While “Auf Deutsch” sounds like Ralf Hütter’s and Florian Schneider’s lost Eurovision composition, “Baustelle” is indeed a tribute to the girls’ favourite band Kraftwerk.
