After one year, Pablo Akaros finally returns with a digital four-track EP on Intoxik

Despite its title, you will not have to do too much thinking to tune into “Reflexion”: Four blistering tracks boiled in Pablo Akaros’ burning-hot voodoo soup, bubbling to the surface like volcanic acid, brimming with nervous bass bounces, brittle microtunes and a bonanza of ballistic hihatpatterns incessantly pushing each other forward. Metallic plates collide with folded paper and alien morse code on “Descomponer” and tracks like “Frankeo Pagado” seem to go on forever – reaching higher adrenalin levels with every sweaty completion of each cycle.
