Welcome to the third part of the modularfield “when we play live…” series with Scott. The duo was founded back in 2006 by Jan Brauer and Daniel Brandt with the aim to play soulful dance music with real instruments. To create the typical Scott sound they use real drums, a Fender Rhodes, some analogue synthesizer and also turn any noise they can find into percussive patterns. The contributed live set was recorded at Undergram at Unit Tokyo – JP.

spontanMusik presents a new Elco Park e.p. – the long awaited follow up to their first record on Force Inc. After lazing around for some years, the 4 tracker is based on 4/4 beat underpinning series of skeletal machine effects, combined with the warmth and depth of detroit. As a counterpart to the entire minimalism, sweet melodies and chords collide with syncopated rhythms. Summertime streamlined their sound into something creative but not gratingly quirky as you would expect from a collaboration of Tobias Lorsbach (Keinzweiter, Superlauncher, Supralist…) and Max Wendling (Paradroid).

Here is the man from St Gallen (Switzerland) who has a sense for laid-back grooving Dubsounds. While his releases already appeared on Italic, Sthlm Audio or Broque.de and include the well-known track “Dubweiser”, he also regularly demonstrated his strong abilities as a DJ.
Alessandros tracks get along with just a few ingredients but always manage to produce a full-bodied and warm sound. He shapes journeys through the most diverse landscapes drifting from underwater worlds into space. Building on an inspiring deepness, his music actually aims at infinity.

Das ist der Mann aus St. Gallen (Schweiz) mit dem Sinn für entspannt groovenden Dubsound. Seine Releases konnte man bisher auf Labels wie Italic, Sthlm Audio oder eben Broque.de hören. Besonders ein Stück wie „Dubweiser“ sollte den Meisten ein Begriff sein, wobei er sich auch als DJ immer wieder unter Beweis stellt.
Alessandro kommt mit wenigen Mitteln aus, schafft es aber trotzdem, einen vollen und warmen Klang zu erzeugen. Er gestaltet Reisen durch weite Landschaften und triftet dabei von Unterwasserwelten bis in die Weiten des Weltraums. Seine Musik legt eine inspirierende Deepness zugrunde und hat die Unendlichkeit als Ziel.
