Biomechanical Audio Control

The good son always returns home. Once again, a delightful FMcontrol release for Crazy-Language, keeping the tradition of his broken-beat style of self-created frequency modulation patches and complex musical structure.

What’s different this time around is a certain minimalism felt throghout the songs. There aren’t as many crazy layers as in past releases, working with fewer elements but exploring every single one of them to it’s fullest, resulting in some very interesting cold tunes, sending chills down your spine at every turn. There are recognizable elements of acid techno through some vintage synth lines and drum kits, but the results are definently not what you are thinking.

It’s a tale of two worlds that FM knows how to combine: cheer mechanical prowess alied to the capacity of sending the most creepy feelings throghout your body. Best suited with good headphones and nice stereo system. [F.G.]

About The Author

Music is a language used all around the world. Transcending cultural and lingual barriers, this universal code is finding its way even into the most remote corners of the planet. Via the internet, music is connecting people who otherwise would never have got to know each other: Bridging the social context consisting of different cultural backgrounds and languages, music makes us feel united, which is somewhat crazy – music is a CRAZY LANGUAGE. Coordinated from Berlin, the netlabel CRAZY LANGUAGE was founded by AXIOM and HURON in 2006. Ever since Crazy Language has been serving as music filter and platform for artistic self-realisation. The label offers all experimental electronic music genres an outlet, for example IDM, Electronica, Glitch, Abstract, Ambient, Downbeat and Breaks. This is reflected in the passion of the netlabel owners as well as in the diversity of the music scene. With lots of love for music, Crazy Language is articulating itself in a dialect spoken all around the world by artists and music lovers alike: the Crazy Language of course. http://www.crazy-language.de /// http://www.crazylanguage.bandcamp.com /// http://www.soundcloud.com/crazy-language /// http://www.facebook.com/crazy.language.netlabel /// http://www.lastfm.de/label/crazy-language /// http://www.archive.org/details/crazy-language /// http://sonicsquirrel.net/detail/label/crazy_language /// https://vimeo.com/crazylanguage
